Gate valves are bi-directional and are primarily used for isolation; they are not suited to throttling applications.  Our stockholding of gate valves includes Cast Carbon Steel, WCB, LCC as well as Cast Iron.

 

D&D International Valves Ltd. are the UK’s largest stockist and distributor of gate valves, globe valves and check valves manufactured by TT Valves UK Ltd.  The valves have a proven record in service and are the preferred manufacturer of a number of companies in the United Kingdom.  Gate valves are installed in tank farms and refineries throughout the world.  The minimum temperature for ASTM A216 Gr WCB when compliant with the Pressure Equipment Directive is -5 deg C.  Lower temperatures are available on factory lead times.

Cast Iron Gate Valves

 

Weflo range of Cast iron gate valves are manufactured to the highest standard, our extensive stock range covers ANSI 125, PN16 and Table E / D flanges and are available with bronze and all iron trim.  The temperature range for these products is -10 deg C to +120 deg C.  For higher temperature service, we would recommend using cast steel valves.
